Show Your Pride – More Than a Photo Shoot

The 2025 Show Your Pride (SYP) campaign marks the third consecutive year of this powerful visibility initiative, proudly co-created by the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce and Soneja Creative.

What began as a shared vision has grown into a powerful rallying call, encouraging businesses, organizations, and individuals to stand in visible solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community through a meaningful and inspiring photography visibility campaign.

Through this visibility campaign, we aim to foster a stronger sense of belonging, resilience, and empowerment in the face of ongoing challenges for the LGBTQ+ community.

The Show Your Pride Photography Campaign is more than just a photo shoot—it’s a celebration of visibility, resilience, and community. Participants step in front of a Pride-themed backdrop and share three meaningful words that encapsulate what Pride means to them. These powerful portraits and words create a visual narrative that highlights the beauty of diversity and the strength of the LGBTQ+ community.

Where can I see the photos?

During Pride Month, the photos will be displayed on over 112 digital kiosks throughout Houston, thanks to the partnership with IKE Smart City. In Montrose—the historic heart of Houston’s LGBTQ+ community—select kiosks will be wrapped with the Show Your Pride logo and vibrant Pride colors, creating a striking visual celebration.

Individual photos will be highlighted, during Pride Month, on the north side of Shell Energy Stadium as part of the collaboration with the Houston Dynamo & Houston Dash.

Visibility as Strength

In times of adversity, visibility is a powerful tool.
The Show Your Pride campaign encourages participants to make their support for the LGBTQ+ community unmistakable. You know that saying… “A picture is worth a thousand words”? Each photograph in the Show Your Pride campaign speaks volumes to the strength and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community.
Allyship in Action

Allyship is more than just words—it requires visible, meaningful action.
The campaign emphasizes the importance of allyship in tangible ways. Allies are encouraged to be part of the 2025 Show Your Pride campaign and share their photo during Pride Month and throughout the year.

Pride is a declaration of existence, strength, and hope.
The LGBTQ+ community has faced challenges throughout history, yet it continues to thrive through resilience and solidarity. For the past two years, Show Your Pride has highlighted the faces of resilience within the LGBTQ+ community. This year’s campaign continues to amplify individuals and their visibility, reminding everyone that Pride is both a celebration and a call to action.

The current climate calls for continued visible support for LGBTQ+ rights. Show Your Pride encourages people to visibly demonstrate their commitment to equality, inclusion, and human rights. The campaign emphasizes that visibility is a form of advocacy that can inspire change and promote understanding.

Participants are invited to have their photo taken in front of a Pride-themed backdrop and share three words that describe what Pride means to them.
During Pride Month, these portraits, along with the participants' words, will be featured across the Chamber’s digital platforms, on the side of Shell Energy Stadium and on the IKE digital kiosks to amplify the message of visibility, inclusion, and allyship.
